About Blake

How to work with me

I believe great actions come from great people. My role is to create clarity, remove obstacles, and give people the support to do their best work.

Portrait of Blake Pratt

I value curiosity, ownership and continuous improvement, and I build trust by empowering people rather than managing every detail. The goal is simple: an environment where talented people grow, contribute meaningful work, and build products and experiences we’re all proud of.

What you can expect from me

  • I’ll challenge the status quo when it leads to better products, processes or customer experiences.
  • I enjoy solving complex problems and thinking strategically about where we’re headed.
  • I’ll trust you to own your work, and be available as a sounding board when you need one.
  • I’ll advocate for the team and help align priorities across departments.
  • I’ll hold myself and the team accountable for delivering high-quality results.

How I make decisions

I naturally think several steps ahead, and I like connecting information from different sources to find the best path. I lean on customer insight, market trends, data and the team’s expertise. Once we choose a direction, I value alignment and decisive execution.

How I communicate

Directly and honestly. Raise concerns early, because we solve problems much faster together than after they’ve grown. You don’t need every answer before you reach out. Transparency beats perfection.

What people misread

I believe a healthy sense of humor makes teams stronger. Work can be demanding, and a moment of levity helps people think more creatively. I often explain ideas through stories, movies, music or pop culture, because a relatable example makes a concept easier to remember.

The best way to work with me

  • Be candid and transparent.
  • Bring recommendations, not just problems.
  • Challenge my thinking. I welcome respectful debate.
  • Keep the customer and the business at the center of decisions.
  • Look for ways to keep improving.
  • Invest in relationships. Strong teams consistently outperform individual talent.
